Airline Operations Specialist and former professional Airline Pilot with multiple credentials and licences in Australia, New Zealand, USA and Papua New Guinea. Fields cover heavy Airline Transport Jet, Turbo-Prop and Light Aircraft, with extensive Flight + Operations Instruction, Safety Surveillance, Dispatch and Regulatory experience. Administration and Journalist skills with extensive airline hours in heavy turbine and jet aircraft. Served as a Specialist Consultant to the Air Transport Division of the New Zealand Ministry of Transport for regulatory review. Substantial professional service as a Pilot, including Jet Captain, in the Australasian Region for airlines and general aviation operators. Including Air Niugini, Airwork, Rex Aviation, Tasair, Airlines of Tasmania and Aero Clubs. Rated experience as a Flight and Ground Instructor in general aviation and overseas airlines, including service with Saudi Arabian Airlines. Trained in expense accountancy, commerce and law applicable to the airline aviation industry through formal mentorship. Past business owner, manager and lease operator in Australia.

Company Director and Financial Consultant. Former Partner in a national Chartered Accounting Practice (now part of Deloitte) Considerable experience in both auditing and accounting services for a wide variety of clients. Considerable experience in the aviation industry including founder Director of Aviation Services Ltd (now ASPEQ) and its subsidiaries which is responsible for the provision of aeronautical examinations and flight testing, both in New Zealand and overseas. Involved in the setting up and maintaining of financial responsibilities for a Third Level New Zealand Airline together with negotiations surrounding the statutory responsibilities of the Airline. Council Member, Treasurer and Membership Secretary of the NZ Division of the Royal Aeronautical Society. Recipient of a Meritorious Service Award from the Society in recognition for a significant contribution to the advancement of aerospace in New Zealand. Lecturer in a wide range of accounting subjects at New Zealand Polytechnics and Universities. Member of the Institute of Directors. Holder of a Private Pilot Licence.
